Ellie

After a very satisfying cup of joe and a delicious slice of coffee cake, Sebastian and I have a wonderful chat. I know we’ve only known one another for less than a day, but something deep inside of me knows that there’s something special about him.

“So, Ellie, if you don’t mind me asking, what plans do you have now?”

I sit there for a moment just thinking. “You know, I’m actually not quite sure. I mean, I do now own a portion of Tanya’s flower shop, but other than that, I don’t have anything planned. Before I had to take leave to care for my Nana, I worked part-time at the town library.”

“Is that something you’d like to go back to?” he asks, interested.

“Hmm, a part of me does, yes. I do love books, but another part of me wants to try something new.”

“Anything in particular?”

My eyes light up instantly. “I’d like to go back to college and become an elementary school teacher. What do you think?”

He smiles genuinely. “If it’s something you feel passionate about, I think it’s a fantastic idea.”

“Thank you. I appreciate that. I just wish I knew where to start.”

He grins. “I may actually have an idea. You see, my brother Asher is a teacher right here at the town school. Maybe I can ask him to meet with you sometime to get answers to all your questions.”

I can’t help but squeal as I launch myself into his embrace, coming very close to his kissable lips and addicting male scent. “Uh, I’m sorry Seb…” I try to quickly back up, but his strong arms pull me back into his warm and exquisite embrace where my body seems to fit perfectly. We must stay like that for a few moments, just staring into each other’s eyes until he closes the short distance between our lips. Our first kiss instantly reminds me of fireworks and volcanos erupting. All going off in my head. I’ve never felt like that before.
